About the Role

This position focuses on building partnerships and projects to advance food security, sustainable agriculture, and improved nutritional health. Key areas include:

Climate-smart agriculture.
High-yield, environment-friendly crop management.
Research on crop genetics, microbiomes, and sustainable food production.
Reduction of food loss, waste, and promotion of healthy diets.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement impactful projects in agriculture and food systems in India.
Lead coordination with stakeholders, including government bodies, research institutions, and international organizations.
Represent the foundation externally, fostering networks and partnerships.
Contribute to strategic documents, M&E frameworks, and implementation plans.
Collaborate with HQ in Denmark as part of hybrid global teams.

Qualifications

Essential

Education: Master’s or PhD in plant science, agriculture, or related fields.
Experience: 10+ years in research, government, or academia, with international collaboration experience preferred.
Strong network with Indian stakeholders in sustainable agriculture and food systems.
Expertise in communication, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement.
