Position Title: Team Leader (TL)
Reporting Line: Program Head/Assistant Director

About Sarva Seva Samity Sanstha:

Sarva Seva Samity Sanstha (4S India), was promoted under the guidance of Mr. Vijay Mahajan (founder BASIX social enterprise group). 4S works for development and empowerment of excluded communities. It aims to improve the lives of vulnerable communities by promoting livelihood by building and empowering local community institutions.

4S works on following themes: Responsible Livelihoods, Institutional Development Services, Agri-Business Development Services, Financial Inclusion Services, Disaster Management & Climate Change, Preventive Health & Nutrition, Women Rights & Entitlements & Natural Resource Management

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Project planning and implementation

2. Guide and supervise the team

3. Ensuring the quality of work and timeliness of deliverables

4. Facilitate convergence with different agriculture and Integrated natural resource management schemes

5. Identifying and building a partnership with local communities, NGOs, and various government departments/ agencies

6. Liasoning with Central and state Government department and agencies

7. Regularly report on the improvements and impact of project interventions

8. Documentation of best practices

9. Build and leverage existing networks, and those facilitated through partners.

10. Any other task assigned time to time

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:

Qualifications:

• Master in Agriculture/Horticulture/ Water Resource Development or related subject, and B Sc/ B-Tech Agriculture

Experience:

• At least 8-10 years of experience in Agriculture/ Integrated Natural Resource/ Livelihood related projects

• Experience of working at grassroots level with marginalized communities.

Skills:

• Team management skills

• Convergence skills

• Willingness to travel

• Coordination and Liaisoning skills

• Excellent analytical, verbal and written communications skills;

• Strong sense of professional commitment and maturity.

• Candidate must have two –wheeler with valid driving license

Salary:

• 55K – 65K (CTC), Negotiable (Based on Educational qualification, Skill and relevant experience)
