Water Security Team Member will anchor initiatives with an aim to ensure drinking and irrigation water security for the stakeholders.
Job Requirements & Description:
- B. Tech (Agri. Engineering)/ B.E. Civil.
- 5 + years of experience.
- Data collection to understand situation of water availability in the area and analyse same to provide inputs for strategic planning.
- Developing guidelines for water budgeting exercise, pilot testing with the community and mapping all the existing water bodies, drinking water sources & CBM well sites of project villages.
- Field visit and surveying, preparing technical details and monitoring of work order & coordination with contractor for implementation of all civil/construction works to meet the demand for domestic & drinking water requirement of the community.
- Evaluation and reporting of the executed civil work.
- Knowledge of Water Harvesting Structures and implementation & check of them through periodical visits.
- Work in cohesion with line agencies like PHED, Watershed, Dept. of
- Irrigation etc.
- Improve community ownership and drive in water harvesting with low
- cost solutions.
- Making drinking water secured for villages, optimize rain water harvesting and ground water recharging for adequate water irrigation, maximize CBM well water utilization and enabling community ownership in water management.
