About the Role: JSS is a leading non-profit NGO implementing various Skill Development Training Programmes on a sustainable economic empowerment model for unemployed youth in Puri district of Odisha. The Field Coordinator is a key position that requires the ability to multi-task and a passion for working with a team and communities in the Puri district.
Requisite Qualification & Experience:
- Must have passed Graduation/ equivalent degree from a reputed University.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in an NGO.
- Must have a two-wheeler motorcycle for field work.
Job Description:
- Conduct surveys in the different blocks of Puri district.
- Mobilize the target group (18-45 years age group).
- Identify Vocational Course Trainers at Village/GP/Block level.
- Identify venues (Training Centers).
- Counsel and e-KYC register trainees.
- Inaugurate Training Centers through VIPs.
- Meet with community leaders/Public Representatives.
- Network with other line departments.
- Supervise and monitor the training centers.
- Supply tools, equipment, and TLM.
- Maintain a tour diary.
- Conduct activities.
- Form and operate SHGs.
- Conduct certificate distribution ceremonies.
- Ensure timely data collection, reporting, analysis, and generation of reports.
- Upload information, data, and reports on different web portals.
- Assist the Director in day-to-day affairs.
Payment:
- Remuneration for the position is ?13,000/- per month (Consolidated) or negotiable as per expertise.
Location:
- Place of posting will be the district office at Puri, and the Field Coordinator will report to the Director.
