Union home minister Amit Shah had a close shave on Tuesday when his "rath" (a specially built truck) ran into a tangle of low-hanging TV cable and electric wires at Parbatsar in Deedwana-Khuchaman while heading to a rally.
The vehicle was passing through a dense area with buildings on both sides when cops at the spot spotted the danger. "The rath was stopped and Shah shifted to another vehicle," said an eyewitness.
