S.A.N.K.A.L.P was established in 1997 as a not-for-profit development organization working for sustainable-effect project outcomes. Its primary focus is holistic sustainable development projects benefitting all sections of society.
S.A.N.K.A.L.P accepts as true that socio-economic growth of humans is a significant part of the sustainable development process. Being a development organization, S.A.N.K.A.L.P has been involved in the projects related to research and analysis, socio-economic development, advocacy, awareness and capacity building, WASH sector, environmental conservation and Carbon Mitigation, rural development, rural infrastructure, and community tourism. The organization has worked across the country and with local, state, and national governments, funding agencies, and corporate houses.
The project will be focused on rural tourism development in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The rural tourism will developed a tourism hub along the guidelines of sustainable tourism at Uttar Pradesh by networking of different destination of rural tourism. The development of detailed micro plans for the buildings, activities, and other dimensions will be part of execution process.
This would ensure the economic viability of the rural tourism initiatives and the effective design and smooth functioning of the networking of rural tourism sites.
Essential Qualifications:
• Post Graduation in Social Welfare/Sociology/Rural development/Tourism
• Good Working Efficiency in MS Office Applications
Required Experience:
• 4 years of experience in; rural development, tourism development, handicraft promotion, SHG trainings, and working in the rural communities, stakeholder coordination,Skills
• Documentation – Word, Excel & PPT
• Good Communication in English and Hindi
• Data Management
Responsibilities:
• Communication with Client
• Office Operations
• Documentation and Data management.
• Monitoring of field team
• Coordination with filed level and district level stakeholders.
• Ready to travel frequently as required.
• Maintain the files/Documents of different projects.
• Preparation of PPT
• Compliance of the ToR of the project.
