Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Partner Bishwajit Dubey has left the firm to set up his own counsel practice.

Dubey is a 2004 graduate of National Law Institute University, Bhopal (NLIU).

With over 19 years of experience in advisory, litigation and arbitration, Dubey is an expert in corporate commercial matters including those on insolvency law, white collar crime, intellectual property and product liability, amongst others.

He worked under Prathiba M Singh (now a judge of the Delhi High Court) and joined the erstwhile Amarchand Mangaldas Suresh A Shroff in 2008. He has been with Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas since 2015.

Commenting on Dubey's exit from the firm, Managing Partner Cyril Shroff said,

“Bishwajit leaves with our best wishes to pursue a career as independent counsel. He was a valuable member of the firm and we will miss him a lot."

Speaking to Bar & Bench on this transition, Dubey said,

"I have had the best of experience and support from Mrs. and Mr. Shroff. In fact, I would give them the credit for setting me up on this path to follow my dream."
