Communication Assistant Required
Institute for Human Development, New Delhi, a reputed research organisation working in the areas of human development, is currently seeking a highly motivated and performance-oriented individual to join its communications team. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about contributing to the institute's activities and can assist the Communication Officer in various tasks such as documentation, event organization, content writing and editing, managing the institute's website, and overseeing print and electronic publications. Additionally, this role will involve expanding IHD's presence through social media platforms and fundraising activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in organising events, conferences, workshops, and fundraising initiatives
• Contribute to the planning, updating, and maintenance of IHD's website and online social media platforms
• Contribute to the development and implementation of communication plans, policies, and outreach strategies, including social media campaigns
• Maintain and update IHD's mailing list, ensuring accuracy and proper categorization
• Assist in the preparation of academic and annual reports for the institute
• Coordinate media outreach efforts, including the creation of media releases and book reviews
Eligibility Criteria:
• Masters degree or equivalent training/experience in relevant areas of communications, public affairs, journalism etc.
• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
•Proficient knowledge and experience in utilising tools and technology for web content management and social media platforms.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
• Capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver them within specified deadlines.
• Preferred exposure to basic design and layout experience.
