Biden's gift is being tied to his speech. When President Biden gifted this T-shirt to Modi, CEOs of several companies including Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra, Apple CEO Tim Cook and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar were present. All of them attended a high-tech handshake event with President Joe Biden at the White House late Friday night.

In the handshake programme, Modi-Biden spoke to the CEOs of several companies for about an hour.
