The Mahajot is a political alliance in Assam, India. It was formed in January 2021 by the Indian National Congress (INC), the All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF), the Bodoland People's Front (BPF), the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI(M)), the Communist Party of India (CPI), the Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) Liberation, the Anchalik Gana Morcha (AGM), and the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). The alliance was formed to contest the 2021 Assam Legislative Assembly election.
The Mahajot was led by the INC, and its main goal was to defeat the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which was the incumbent government in Assam. The alliance also aimed to promote secularism and democracy in the state.
