PHFI, in partnership with the Government of Sikkim, is implementing a project titled:
The project focuses on:
Cancer prevention awareness
Early detection initiatives
School-based life skills interventions
Community outreach programmes
Health behaviour change campaigns
Cancer literacy improvement among adolescents and youth
Selected candidates will be responsible for:
Coordinate project activities across all six districts of Sikkim.
Ensure timely implementation of study objectives.
Liaise with health and education departments.
Design quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
Develop study protocols, questionnaires, and training manuals.
Conduct data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
Develop and manage project databases.
Ensure quality data management practices.
Design monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
Develop evaluation tools and indicators.
Track project progress and outcomes.
Prepare study reports.
Submit progress reports to funding agencies.
Manage Ethics Committee approvals and compliance documentation.
Contribute to manuscript preparation and scientific publications.
Candidates must possess any one of the following:
First Class Postgraduate Degree with 3 years of experience
Integrated Postgraduate Degree with 3 years of experience
PhD with relevant qualifications
First Class Engineering / IT / Computer Science Graduate Degree (4 Years) with 5 years of experience
PhD in Public Health or Allied Health Sciences
Experience as Principal Investigator (PI) or Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI) in at least five relevant projects
3 to 5 years of experience in:
Public Health Research
Programme Implementation
Monitoring & Evaluation
Health Policy Research
More than 5 years of relevant public health research experience
Candidates should possess:
Excellent communication skills
Strong interpersonal abilities
Experience conducting workshops and training programmes
Research and analytical skills
Project coordination expertise
Report writing and documentation skills
Stakeholder management abilities
