Roles & Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Support customers using the Akamai Connected Cloud platform.
- Own customer issues from identification to resolution.
- Collaborate with internal teams across different time zones.
- Analyze cloud-based solutions and perform troubleshooting.
- Maintain and enhance Akamai’s knowledge database.
- Provide feedback on tools, workflows, and processes.
- Contribute to service quality improvements and technical expertise growth.
Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 6 months to 2 years of experience in cloud or technical support roles.
- Strong understanding of internet protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, HTTP, BGP).
- Hands-on experience with Linux (Bash / Shell command line).
- Knowledge of programming languages like Python or Java.
- Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML and JavaScript.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
