Roles & Responsibilities for Fund Services
As part of the Fund Services team at Citco, your responsibilities may include:
- Reviewing and approving trades booked by trade processors to ensure accuracy and compliance with fund guidelines.
- Coaching and supporting trade processors where required, helping them follow best practices and maintain quality standards.
- Entry of all trade activity within the global business unit, while meeting established timelines and cut-offs.
- Ensuring high accuracy standards are maintained for the entry and validation of trade activity and related financial data.
- Distributing correspondence to investors including trade confirmations, settlement advices, contract notes, account statements and market value statements.
- Assisting with other related duties in fund services and operations as required by the team.
- Maintaining a solid working knowledge of multiple systems used for trade processing and fund accounting.
- Following fund-specific instructions and variables as defined by each client or product.
- Working in various shifts implemented in the Global Operations Support team to support international clients and time zones.
Skills Required for Fund Services
- You have at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in: Mathematics, Quantity Survey, Commerce, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or an equivalent field.
- You preferably have 2–4 years of experience specialising in Finance – Corporate Finance / Investment / Merchant Banking or an equivalent area. Fresh graduates may also apply.
- Knowledge of hedge funds or mutual funds is an added advantage and will help you understand client requirements faster.
- You have excellent data and alphanumeric entry skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- Comfort with Excel or similar tools for managing and analysing financial data.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical ability and time management to meet daily deadlines.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and support global clients.
