NDA 2 Registration Last Date 2025 Extended to June 20
New Delhi, June 18, 2025 – The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has extended the last date to apply for the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination II, 2025. Candidates can now submit their application forms online until June 20, 2025 through the official website upsconline.nic.in.
This year, the NDA 2 examination will be conducted to fill a total of 406 vacancies, including 25 seats for women across the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Indian Naval Academy. The written examination is scheduled for September 14, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Age: Candidates must be between 16.5 and 19.5 years of age.

Education: Must have passed or be appearing in Class 12 examination.
Revised Application Process
UPSC has implemented a new four-step process for filling out the NDA 2 application form:

Account creation on the UPSC portal

Generation of Universal Registration Number (URN)

Completion of the Common Application Form (CAF)

Application submission for NDA & NA Examination
Candidates are required to verify their mobile number and email address using a one-time password (OTP).

Syllabus Overview
General Ability Test (GAT):

Part A: English (Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension)

Part B: General Knowledge (Physics, Chemistry, Social Studies, Geography, General Science, Current Events)
Mathematics:

Topics include Algebra, Calculus, Trigonometry, Matrices and Determinants, Vector Algebra, Analytical Geometry, Statistics, and Probability.
Stipend
Candidates selected for training will receive a stipend of ?56,100 per month during their tenure at the academy.
Additional Information

Only one examination city can be selected while applying. Allotment is on a first-apply-first-allot basis.

TID (Transaction ID) is generated during online fee payment and must be retained for reference.

Password recovery can be done via OTP through the registered mobile number or email.
