Job Description:
Applicants (M/F) are invited to apply for the position of Economist. The role involves participating in research and action research projects, focusing on socio-economic issues. Candidates will be expected to engage in statistical and software-based analysis of both secondary and primary data sources, as well as conduct extensive fieldwork across various states in India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct socio-economic research and action research projects.
- Undertake statistical and software-based analysis of secondary and primary data.
- Conduct fieldwork in various states across India.
- Collaborate with a team of researchers and contribute to the overall research objectives.
Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Economics with specialization in Econometrics or Statistics.
Preferred Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in research or action research.
- Proficiency in statistical software and analysis of large datasets.
- Open to conducting extensive fieldwork.
