About The Program
The Kotak Kanya Scholarship, a collaborative CSR project by Kotak Mahindra Group companies and Kotak Education Foundation, aims to promote education among economically disadvantaged sections of society. This scholarship offers financial assistance to meritorious girl students from low-income families, empowering them to pursue higher education in professional fields after Class 12.
Benefits
- Scholarship amount of INR 1.5 lakh per year until the completion of the professional graduation course/degree.
- The scholarship can be used to cover academic expenses including tuition fees, hostel fees, internet, transportation, laptops, books, and stationery.
Eligibility Criteria
- Open for meritorious girl students across India.
- Must have scored 75% or more marks or equivalent CGPA in Class 12 board examinations.
- Annual family income must be less than INR 6,00,000.
- Must have secured admission to the first year of graduation programs in 2024-25 in institutes of repute like NIRF/NAAC accredited for professional graduation degrees like Engineering, MBBS, BDS, Integrated LLB (5 Years), B.Sc. Nursing, B. Pharmacy, Integrated BS-MS/BS-Research in ISER, IISC (Bangalore), or other professional courses (Design, Architecture, etc.).
- Children of employees of Kotak Mahindra Group, Kotak Education Foundation, and Buddy4Study are not eligible.
Documents Required
- Marksheet of previous qualifying examination (Class 12).
- Income proof of parents/guardians.
- ITR of parents for FY 2023-24 (if available).
- Fee structure (for academic year 2024-25).
- Bonafide student certificate/letter from college.
- College seat allocation document.
- College entrance examination scorecard.
- Aadhaar card.
- Bank passbook.
- Passport-size photograph.
- Disability certificate (if applicable).
- Death certificate of parent (for single parent/orphan candidates).
- Photographs of the house.
Application Process
- Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button.
- Login to Buddy4Study using a registered ID to land on the ‘Online Application Form Page’.
- If not registered, register at Buddy4Study with your email/mobile/Gmail account.
- You will be redirected to the ‘Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2024-25’ application form page.
- Click on the ‘Start Application’ button to begin the application process.
- Fill in the required details in the online scholarship application form.
- Upload the required documents.
- Accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click on ‘Preview’.
- If all the details are correct, click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete the application process.
