The organization focuses on empowering vulnerable sections of the community, including women, children, and the elderly.

Program Overview:

The Comprehensive Elderly Care Program (CECP) aims to build a comprehensive model that addresses the health, social, psycho-social, and economic needs of the elderly in the community. The program comprises two major interventions: health and social. The health intervention improves accessibility to health services for the elderly, while the social intervention encourages constant engagement of the elderly through activity centers at the village level.

Position Overview:

The Program Associate will be based in Chandrapur district, Maharashtra, and will support the Comprehensive Elderly Care Program (CECP). This role requires a background in physiotherapy and public health, as well as strong coordination and capacity-building skills. The Program Associate will report to the Program Manager of CECP.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Program Manager to support the implementation of the Comprehensive Elderly Care Program (CECP).
Provide support for field-level integration of CECP project activities.
Offer technical assistance to the District Health Society for the operationalization of Geriatric Clinics at the Primary Health Center (PHC) level.
Plan and organize physiotherapy sessions for the elderly at PHC levels.
Assist in the development of strategic plans and research/grant proposals.
Document project outcomes, success stories, and challenges.
Travel within the district/blocks as required by the project and organization.
Coordinate with the team for effective project implementation and liaise with other organizations working in the domain of elderly care.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor of Physiotherapy with a Master’s degree in Public Health or Health Administration.
0-2 years of work experience with government and counterparts.
Technical knowledge and field experience in public health programs.
Strong written and communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
Proficiency in writing technical and programmatic documents such as proposals and training reports.
