Job Description
As an FDA Approved Microbiologist at Growing Careers, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of products through rigorous testing and adherence to industry standards. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Analysis & Testing: Conducting analysis according to existing specifications and test methods.
- Documentation: Preparing reports of analysis, certificates of analysis, and approval/rejection of products.
- Media/Solutions Preparation: Preparing media and solutions in compliance with SOPs.
- Calibration & Validation: Calibrating, qualifying, and validating equipment/instruments with proper documentation.
- Sample Disposal Supervision: Overseeing the disposal of analyzed samples and used media.
- Laboratory Housekeeping: Ensuring the laboratory is maintained according to housekeeping standards.
- GMP/GLP Compliance: Conducting all laboratory activities in line with GMP/GLP and safety guidelines.
- Training: Attending all company-organized training programs for continuous knowledge upgrading in line with GMP/GLP guidelines.
- SOP Compliance: Strict adherence to existing SOPs relevant to laboratory activities.
- Additional Assignments: Undertaking any other tasks delegated by the Head of the Department.
- Food Safety Program: Serving as a member of the Food Safety team and performing duties accordingly.
- Media Preparation & Sterilization: Preparing media and sterilizing glassware and media as required.
