Job Title: IT Coordinator
Organization: CREA
Location: New Delhi
Working Hours: 40 Hours per week (Full-Time)
Duration: 1 Year (Renewable depending on requirement, funding situation, and performance)

Purpose of the Role

The IT Coordinator will manage the operations and technical support of CREA’s IT services, improve existing IT systems, and support the organization’s automation needs. This involves working with external agencies, software development firms, and service providers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Deployment of IT-Enabled Business Solutions

    • Manage and deploy IT solutions aligned with organizational goals.
  2. Installation and Maintenance of IT Infrastructure

    • Oversee the installation and maintenance of computer systems, hardware, networks, and communication tools.
    • Proficiency in both Windows and Macintosh environments.
  3. Email System Administration

    • Manage Google Mail Administration system.
    • Ensure smooth email operations.
  4. Security and Maintenance of Backend Systems

    • Administer security and maintenance of backend servers, databases, and digital information.
    • Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with legal and CREA IT policy requirements.
  5. Keeping Abreast of IT Trends

    • Stay updated with IT trends and identify cost-effective solutions.
  6. Technical Support

    • Provide quick and efficient technical support to CREA staff.
  7. IT Asset Management

    • Maintain and update the organization's IT asset list.
    • Propose disposal of obsolete assets.
  8. Communication Network Management

    • Ensure maximum uptime of CREA’s communication network.
  9. Network and Data Security Evaluations

    • Conduct routine evaluations and system audits.
  10. System Updates and Upgrades

    • Implement system updates, migrations, and upgrades.
  11. Hardware Resource Inventory and Asset Management

    • Manage inventory and asset issuance and return processes.
  12. Management of Third-Party Software

    • Oversee third-party software solutions and data loss prevention systems.
  13. IT Support for Events

    • Provide IT support during events and online meetings.
  14. Online Meeting Solutions and AI Tools

    • Provide cost-effective online meeting solutions and AI tools.
  15. System and Data Backup Checks

    • Perform monthly check-ups of systems and data backups.
  16. Additional Duties

    • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT management.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard hardware and software systems.
  • Experience with network administration (CISCO certification a plus).
  • Proficiency in network administration, including firewall management and VPN configurations.
  • Experience managing on-premises servers, SAN, and NAS devices.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Salesforce, and Azure Cloud.

Remuneration

  • Salary range: INR 40,000 - 90,000 per month (based on qualifications, experience, and internal pay parity).

Leaves/Holidays

  • 20 days annual leave.
  • 12 holidays as per CREA list.
  • 12 days of sick/casual leave.
  • One week of winter break at the end of the year.
